Dr. Mansur M. Arief
Assistant Professor, Industrial & Systems Engineering
Leads the AI V&V Lab at KFUPM, which studies how much can we trust an AI system before we let it run something expensive or dangerous? The lab develops approaches that can produce measured failure rates, stress tests, and documentation a regulator or a board can actually read for intelligent systems, supply chains, and energy operations. Currently teaches rigorous courses on engineering statistics, quality control, and modern economic analysis, and is always open to new industry and research collaborators. Prior to joining KFUPM, Mansur served as the Executive Director for Center for AI Safety at Stanford after finishing his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA.
