King Hussein Cancer Award: Young Investigator Award for Arab Researchers
If you are an early-career researcher making impactful contributions to cancer research, the King Hussein Young Investigator Award is an opportunity worth your attention.
About the Award

The King Hussein Cancer Research Award, established in 2020 by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCC), recognizes and promotes cancer research across the Arab world. Named in honor of the late King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan — a firm believer in cancer research — the award aims to advance cutting-edge research and fill gaps in our understanding of cancer in the Arab world.
The Young Investigator Award specifically honors researchers at the beginning of their careers (age 45 and younger) for their innovative contributions to cancer research.
Two Tracks

Why This Matters
Cancer research in the Arab world deserves more visibility and support. The King Hussein Award is one of the few programs specifically designed to recognize Arab researchers — whether working in the region or abroad. If your work intersects with cancer research and you meet the criteria, this is a meaningful recognition that can elevate your research profile and connect you with a broader community of Arab scientists.
Please note that AI V&V Lab is not associated with this award in any way. We are only promoting it for better visibility within our network and community.
